Online hoarding support in Canberra and Australian Capital Territory
Online sessions by video for people in Canberra and across the ACT. Private support that you can start without waiting for a referral.
How sessions work in ACT
Sessions are online by video, so they work anywhere in Canberra and surrounding areas. You sort one zone at a time while we guide, help with stuck decisions and keep the session moving. Family can join from anywhere if you want them there.
Time zone. The ACT is on Australian Eastern Time (AEST, with daylight saving from October to April). Session times are the same as Canberra time.
In-home visits aren’t available in Australian Capital Territory yet.
Hoarding and squalor in Australian Capital Territory
The ACT Government funds the Hoarding Advocacy Support Service (HASS), delivered by Woden Community Service. It provides intensive case management for a small number of complex cases referred through the multi-agency Hoarding Case Management Group, and runs programs such as Buried in Treasures and Family as Motivators.
Because intensive places are limited, private practical support can help people who need to start sooner, or who want steady weekly sessions alongside other services.
If you rent in Australian Capital Territory
