Online hoarding support in Darwin and Northern Territory

Online sessions by video for people in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, Katherine and across the Territory, where in-person hoarding support is rarely available.

How sessions work in NT

Sessions are online by video, so they work anywhere in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, Katherine and remote communities. You sort one zone at a time while we guide, help with stuck decisions and keep the session moving. Family can join from anywhere if you want them there.

Time zone. The NT is on Australian Central Standard Time (ACST) all year, with no daylight saving. We confirm every session in Darwin time.

In-home visits aren’t available in Northern Territory yet.

Hoarding and squalor in Northern Territory

The NT doesn’t have a dedicated published hoarding and squalor guideline that we’re aware of. Concerns about a home are usually raised with the local council or NT Health, and older people can ask about hoarding and squalor assistance through My Aged Care.

With few local specialist services, online support can be one of the most practical ways to get started.

If you rent in Northern Territory

Clutter can put a tenancy at risk. Get advice early, and keep a record of the steps you’re taking. Steady, visible progress often helps.
